4 Convenient Locations
If you’re looking for short-term rehab, it makes a lot of sense to choose a program that’s part of a major non-profit health system, The Eddy/St. Peter’s Health Partners. We’re motivated by just one overarching goal: provide patients excellent health care, including physical rehabilitation. We have physicians who are very involved in overseeing your recovery and are on the same medical team that cared for many of our patients in the hospital. And when you return home, if needed we can set you up with support from our other Eddy organizations: nurse visits from the Eddy Visiting Nurse & Rehab Association, medical equipment from Northeast Health Home Medical Equipment and an emergency personal health alert system from Eddy Health Alert.
What happens during your rehab and what kind of success you have serves as a set-up to the rest of your life. Give any one of our four locations a chance to prove to you that when it comes to rehab, there’s a clear difference and a real choice.

If you’re coming directly to us from the hospital, and you’ve spent at least three days there as an inpatient (not just for “observation”), Medicare Part A generally covers up to 100 days of rehab…but we hope to have you back home even before that! Our short-term rehab is also usually covered by commercial and private insurance.
Typically, patients are with us anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. Our job is to build up your strength and confidence, and teach you how to best continue your recovery back home…which is where we know you’d prefer to be!
You’ll be assigned a team that will develop a specific, individualized treatment plan just for you. Your team often includes both a physical therapist and an occupational therapist, as well as a speech therapist if needed. When you’re not in a therapy session, then our doctors, nurses and aides are helping fast-track your recovery. And of course, we can’t forget the members of our nutrition/dining team, because you’ll get better, faster, if you’re well-fed with nutritional, tasty meals!
Over many years, we’ve been privileged to provide short-term rehab to thousands of patients. We thank them for entrusting us with their recovery, and we welcome the opportunity to serve you!
